Run 3 Unblocked is an addictive endless runner game developed by Joseph Cloutier on June 2014 for mobile and desktop. You have to control an Alien to race through tunnels and run as far as possible. Stay away from the deep!
Gameplay of Run 3 Unblocked
Explore mode is the main attraction of Run 3. Run 3 Unblocked is the only game to have an Explore mode, though Run 1’s Adventure mode serves the same purpose.
There are currently 309 playable levels in Run 3’s Explore Mode. It consists of the Main Tunnel, which has 65 levels, more than 20 side tunnels, two minigames, and cutscenes that fit between some levels. You can unlock the Skater, Lizard and Child by playing Explore Mode and reaching the conditions like clearing the Low-Power Tunnel or beating Level 10; the same goes for the Winter and Halloween Costumes.
Story
The plot of the game happens in Explore Mode. The story pops after beating Level 10, and progresses with each cutscene or dialogue found by the player. Because all of the levels are not finished, neither is the story. You have to beat Level 3 to unlock Infinite Mode.
Run 3 Unblocked Game modes
There are two main game modes in Run 3 Unblocked; Explore mode and Infinite mode. There are also some other game features, such as the Shop and the Level Editor, while there are also thousands of other levels published by other players made with the Level Editor.
Explore mode
Explore mode is the main attraction of Run 3 Unblocked. It contains the story, as described at the bottom and on this page. Several characters can be unlocked by playing through Explore mode, as well as the Winter and Halloween costumes. The Runner’s galaxy map acts as a level hub for Explore mode, displaying all the tunnels and levels that can be explored.
Infinite mode
Infinite mode consists of pre-made levels in random order. Your progress is not saved between levels, so instead, your goal is to finish as many levels in a row as possible. The levels repeat if you travel far enough, so there’s no way to win. The main purpose of Infinite mode is collecting power cells, the in-game form of currency. Power cells are used to buy other characters and costumes.
Tips and Tricks for Run 3 Unblocked
New aliens, new tricks. There are 9 characters you can unlock as you play through the levels. If you save up enough power cells, you can unlock new characters right away! Each alien has their own set of skills that will help you navigate the galaxy. If you find yourself stuck in a tricky tunnel, try swapping out your character for a new one. For example, the Skater will perform better in the snow levels!
Control your jumps. The longer you hold down the up arrow key, the higher and longer you’ll jump. For platforms with a small gap in between, try tapping the up arrow to make a small jump. This technique can help you avoid over shooting your landing.
Look ahead. Put your focus on the platforms just ahead of your character. Take note of all different sides of the tunnel to plan your next jumps. This should help you determine which way to turn the tunnels so that your character has plenty of space to run.
Infinite practice. Infinite Mode is great for collecting power cells to unlock characters, but it can also be great for practice too! If you’re stuck on a level on the galaxy map, try a few runs through the infinite tunnels. The tunnels won’t be the same every time, so you’ll get a good feel for the different obstacles.
