The stars aligned when I was looking for Super Bowl team cocktails to complete my collection. Skewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is the official alcohol for the Kansas City Chiefs so I started dreaming about different flavor combinations.

Chocolate was an obvious choice, but it would change the color too much. Peanut butter popped in my head and I realized that is would also be the perfect way to celebrate 10 years of blogging!

My very first post was a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich on November 27, 2012, because it was the only recipe that I could think of at 2 a.m. while trying out my new recipe card.

A peanut butter whiskey cocktail in a short glass with a football shaped ice cube and wooden bowl of peanuts in the background.

To continue with the football theme I made football shaped ice cubes. Any large ice cube will work; square, round, whatever you like. The ice cube in the first image flipped over after trying to swap it out for a square one.

A 2.25-inch “extra-large ice cube will not fit in my glass. Make sure you measure your glass diameter before purchasing your ice cube tray.

Ingredients you will need

A bottle of Skrewball peanut butter whiskey and a bottle of chambord liqueur on a wooden board.

This is probably the easiest cocktail I have ever made!

  • Skewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is the original peanut butter whiskey with roasted peanut, honey, vanilla, and toasted flavor notes. It is sweeter than traditional whiskey which is why I opted not to add even more sweetness with a berry simple syrup.
  • Chambord Liqueur is a French, made from red and black raspberries, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey and cognac. I use raspberry preserves to make my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which makes it the perfect fit.
  • You will also need a rocks glass and some sort of ice cube to help chill the drink.
