I absolutely love creating fun cocktails for Halloween parties!! Some would say that Halloween is my favorite holiday, and they would right.
This spooky season is the perfect time to go all out with spider webs, snakes, and watch Harry Potter movies all month long without people thinking you are completely crazy, or creepy.
Since I was already planning on dressing up as Professor Trelawney for a Halloween party, I needed a name that would at least make some kind of sense.
I don’t remember ever hearing about a Divination Potion, so Witches Brew recipe it is!

FAQ’s
Um, no. This is a cocktail recipe and there are no substitutions for vodka or blue curaçao.
Vodka, blue curaçao, grenadine, and green apple syrup are available at most grocery and liquor stores.
Sweet and sour mix is also available in stores but I highly recommend making your own at home, using the smaller amount of sugar to keep this drink from being overly sweet.
Always use high quality vodka like Absolut , Stolichnaya, or Grey Goose for the best flavor.
I used a 10-ounce cocktail glass, but an old fashion glass will also work. A highball glass can be used, but they are usually larger (13-ounces) and will require more ice or more cocktail.
Feel free to use whatever spooky garnishes that you like. Plastic bugs frozen in ice cubes would be fun, just make sure to warn your guests so they don’t swallow them as the ice melts!
You can also dip the rim of the glass into the apple syrup, then sugar rim with green or black sanding sugar.
Yes, you absolutely can! Simply multiply all of the ingredients by 12 or 15 and pour into a large punch bowl filled with ice.
Serve each individual drink with creepy crawlies that are large enough to not swallow, or stick to creepy candy bugs and worms.
