Happy Fall!! It’s almost as if Mother Nature is paying attention to the calendar, our temperatures dropped to the low 80’s right on cue. I am not complaining, the non-stop 100’s were starting to get to me, lol. Even though the leaves do not change color here in Phoenix, I am ready to bake and cozy up in a soft blanket. These Apple Cider Glazed Apple Scones are the perfect first recipe of the new season…..

Allow the glaze to set and serve.

Notes:

  • I am not of fan of apple chunks in my food, so I shredded them with a box grater. If you prefer chunks, go right ahead and dice up your apples.
  • Each oven cooks differently so times are approximate.
  • If you like intense flavors, add more cinnamon, or add ground cloves, or allspice.
  • If you do not have Greek yogurt, substitute milk or cream.
  • I used Gala apples, but Jonagold, Braeburn, or any sweet/tart apples will work.

Since you have apple cider in the fridge now, why not make some Apple Cider Doughnuts…..

or maybe an Apple Cider Mule…..

Tomorrow night I will be making Pork Chops with Apple and Cider Sauce…..

Okay technically the pork chops are made with hard apple cider {alcohol}, but they are just as delicious with regular apple cider. 😉

I love fall!!!!!

Enjoy!!
