This Teriyaki Salmon is perfect for a crazy weeknight where you need dinner in a hurry, it only takes about 15 minutes to prepare. I served it with sauteed zucchini drizzled with sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds. If you have 25 minutes to spare, you could serve it with rice or noodles.

Crazy Love Flakes Story:

The other night during the newscast, the weatherman showed the seven day forecast with snowflakes on Valentine’s Day. The anchorman Bruce started referring to them as love flakes because it was Valentine’s Day. The regular anchorwoman is Beth, and she must have had the 5 & 6pm newscasts off. She was back for the 10pm newscast, and Joe the weatherman told Beth about Bruce referring to them as love flakes all evening. I wish I could have recorded her response, it was hysterical. Poor Bruce.

Joe was right, it did snow.

How to make Teriyaki Salmon:

We did not actually have this salmon on Valentine’s Day. We probably should have, it would have been so much easier to prepare. But no, I had to go and create a “foodie” meal and a crazy dessert. I was in the kitchen for about 6 hours, but it was so worth it! Tortilla Crusted Sea Bass will be next week’s post. But we should probably get back to the salmon…..
